Calendar for Presenters

  • June 1, 2018: Last day to submit interest with a presentation idea.
  • June 15, 2018: June 30, 2018: Notification of acceptance.
  • July 31, 2018: Presenter registration due, with final abstract and biography included.
  • July 31, 2018: Early registration deadline.
  • September 4, 2018: Electronic version of presentation due.

 

IHEEP 2018 is seeking transportation agency volunteers to provide presentations on topics of interest to the IHEEP delegates and vendor partners.

Many delegates cannot receive approval to attend out of state/country travel until a reasonable conference schedule is published. IHEEP 2018 is making an effort to provide a draft conference schedule as early as possible. Our 2018 Technical Program Committee requests interested presenters to engage in a dialogue with the committee as soon as possible. Please fill out the form below to submit a presentation topic for consideration.

This year’s focus areas will be (as of now):

  • BIM for Infrastructure/CIM (Project Delivery or Asset Management)
  • E-Construction Initiatives
  • Data/Document Management
  • Business Innovation/Transformation

However, IHEEP 2018 is open to any topic that complements the focus areas and is relevant to highway engineering innovations, typically with a technology component. The 2018 Technical Program Committee encourages presentations based on experiences gained and lessons learned during that process which relates to the completed project. Selection of presentations will be based on the following prioritization:

  1. Presentation by HEEP delegate with a topic relevant to the focus areas.
  2. Presentation by HEEP delegate in conjunction with a vendor on topic relevant to the focus areas.
  3. Presentation by vendor on topic relevant to the focus areas.

 

NOTES:

Please clarify if your proposed presentation deals with a planned or incomplete project. We are considering having both 60 minute and 30 minute presentation blocks during this event, so you will be asked for your preference on the form. We will determine after reviewing the results whether to proceed with 30 minute slots or not. Selected presenters will be required to submit a short biography for publication in IHEEP 2018 program. Selected presenters will be required to submit an electronic copy of presentation prior to IHEEP 2018 conference.
